Moshi Kamachi is back with another great dub masterpiece and taking over the Chilldown Period.

I hope you all enjoy this masterpiece of a mix (get it yourself here)!

For some reason libsyn is having a hard time embedding the player, so I'll see what I can do later.

But, please, do not let this keep you from enjoying this show!

Awesome news!

First off, I want to say thanks to all of those out there who sent your well wishes, prayers, positive vibes on behalf of my family following the loss of my grandmother! It is great to know there are people out there who care. Big ups to all of you.

Second, after talking to our accountant (ie the guy who does out taxes), we will receive enough in our tax refund to pay off our debt due to my having to fly back to Oklahoma!

This means the Chilldown Period and the Dubstep Directive will continue on!

Thanks, everyone, for your support. It seemed, before this bit of good news, that I was going to have to take a break. I knew I could probably carry on this month but the next would be harder (in fact, we'll be hearing from a good friend of the show tonight when I get back from my other other job) but this is a truly terrific thing.

Thanks once again!

Dubstep Directive - Road to Valhalla

Update 1 March 2011: The Tracklisting is updated and you will find links to all of the artists on the show from last week.

I hope you enjoy the music!

I'm going to do a quick tracklisting tonight because I'm fairly exhausted.

I give all credit to Sleaze for inspiring this cover. I was out trying to get a great photo last year, saw the mountains in the background, the road - then I remember a few days after taking the shot...

Sleaze did an album cover with a similar flavor a while back. So all of the credit goes to him for inspiring this podcast cover.

The Chilldown Period - Episode 25

This is the two year anniversary of the show and I wish it was under happier auspices. Over the past 24 months I've come in contact with great artists and music fans who have helped make this show awesome. Thanks to everyone for this time. I've already done a post about why it maybe a while before we get the show going again and I talked about it on the show - I think that is enough. This is a show of good music for everyone out there to enjoy.

Download it here.

(I'll give you a more detailed tracklisting tomorrow. It's late and I've got to get up early for my jobs tomorrow. So, here is a quick one for you all.)

Good and Bad News

It's time for a quick update about how things are going around here.

First - the good news.

I'm coming up on episode 25 of the Chilldown Period. It's another milestone in the podcast's life and I'm excited to see how it turns out. If you'd like to be apart of it, send me a message on twitter at http://twitter.com/ublf. This could not be possible without all of you.

Now - the bad news.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, either February or March will be my last month of podcasting for a while. We had a death in the family and some medical bills which need to be paid. If something happens between now and in the near future where I can resume this, I will let you all know.

For now, next month is going to be a blast and I hope to have some great shows for you.

Take it easy y'all!

Check out Cool 2 Die on soundcloud!

C2d - Cloudy(demo) by Cool2die

I came in contact with Cool 2 Die a while back for one of my shows. He's always kept me up to date on his work and it's always a welcoming site when I see something in my inbox letting me know that he's been back to the drawing board.

He's mixing dubstep and hip-hop in to a new monstrous hybrid which will get you moving in so many ways. He'll at times stay true to dubstep principles, then throw you into some crunk mash, and then tease you with a bit of chillstep.

Here's some more Cool 2 Die to keep your interests up!
