Chilldown Period - Episode 44 - Quantum Displacement

First off, gotta give credit for this podcast cover.
The background picture (taken in the town of Long Beach, Washington) is from Upupa4me and the photo can be found here. The people in the photo come from this photo taken by vonderauvisuals. The Creative Commons licenses can be found here and here for the respective photos.

To give you an insight to what I've been talking about for my podcast cover, here is a scientific taste looking at displacement on the subatomic level by using a SQUID device. Quantum is reserved for measuring movement, volume, etc., in the subatomic level. Very Small quantities. Here, we take what could be at the subatomic level (movement of electrons) and move from a small, quantum size to the Newtonian. Michio Kaku is one scientist trying to find a universal law so you can move from quantum/subatomic levels into Newtonian physics. What would happen if you could emulate the movement of an electron (go from one area, disappear, and show up in another place) and put humans in that same sphere. i.e., move them from one place and have them inexplicably appear in some place else. Such as a group of people from Chicago to a sleepy little town in Washington State? That's what I hope to show with this podcast cover.

I apologize for taking so long to get this podcast out. Holidays are coming, I'm trying to go on vacation, and my body seems to fight against me right now. So, my apologies for taking so long. I hope the wait is worth it.

You can download the podcast here, if you would like to do that as well!

Now, onto the tracklisting!

listening to this episode while reading Brian Greene's book The Hidden Reality about multiverses and hearing that one song with the repeated lyrics "everything else is illusatory" was pretty trippy..

That's awesome! I may have to take a gander at that Book! I enjoyed Michio Kaku's book "Physics of the Impossible". Massive ups!
